The Book Brunch brings together readers, writers, thinkers, and storytellers for one of BVI Lit Fest's most anticipated experiences. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Long Bay Beach Resort, this signature event combines great food, meaningful conversation, and unforgettable literary encounters.

This year, guests will enjoy a special featured conversation between Talia S. Young, President and CEO of Newark Symphony Hall, and L. Sauda Smith. Together, they will explore the vital role that fundraising, advocacy, and cultural investment play in strengthening the arts and supporting artists. Drawing from her extensive career in economic development, public policy, entrepreneurship, and cultural leadership, Young will share insights into leading the restoration of Newark Symphony Hall and the importance of creating sustainable spaces where creativity, culture, and community can thrive.

Their conversation will offer a unique perspective on what it takes to build, preserve, and champion institutions that keep stories, artists, and cultural traditions alive for future generations.

As the festival's closing signature event, the Book Brunch will also feature some of the festival's most anticipated announcements:
